It didn't really take too long to build this tower (and even less time to take it down!) and it's Memorial day, so, yes I had some free time.

to: TomHimself

I bought them off ebay- that's the only place I've ever seen them.
If you want a set, I'll sell you mine- gotta pay for those Pharaohs somehow. Used only once!
Faninislots is the ebay seller, and I think they are also the manufacturer.
They have tons of slot machine parts for sale, and these chips are the same as most 40mm slot tokens.
I have 1000:
200 25 cent
200 $1
200 $5
150 $10
150 $25
$100 $100

I've thought about splitting it up and selling the tourney denoms (450 total $5, $25, $100) and ring game (550 total $.25, $1, $10)
The colors work best when used in these combos.

Fanini sells 1000 for $310 plus $19.95 shipping (extremely reasonable for this set!)

If you want to take the whole shebang off my hands, I'll knock 10% off, plus $17 shipping. (total 279+17= $296 delivered) Drop me a pm.
I know this isn't the right forum for wheeling and dealing, I'll post over there if necessary.

I'd be willing to part with some Store Chips for articles with step by step instructions and pictures for building castles...

I for one would appreciate some sort of tutorial or basic guideline to building castles and etc. This is my first attempt at actually building some sort of uh...thing with chips. I got to about 75-ish with the whites but I couldn't get them to stand on their own any longer so I just separated into stacks of 50 and made a sturdier base. I'm using cheap Wal-Mart "Dice Chips" to do this, can you stack higher with these or is it futile to try more? By the way, I call this structure "Aaron's Folly".
(Sorry for the glare )

Yeah you might not get very far with the Wal-Mart chips. Way to slippery!!! Maybe if you got labels for them they would be slightly better, but I don't think you need to get labels just for stacking them, that would be dumb!

Anyways good luck coming up with some designs of your own with those, I bet with a good deal of creativity you can come up with a getting them to stack higher than 75!!!

Ok finished them up.

Some of these look great. If I had nicer chips mine might look good.
