Best case for 1500 chips

What would be the best way to keep 1500 chips??
I'm open to all types of cases...home or transport cases??

Thanks in Advance,
Drake

Send them to me and I will get back to you after I experiment

I like racks so I would use racks and a pelican case..

Checkout the Poker Accessories under the Reviews section; there are several case styles discussed their that will meet your requirements. I have a Task Force-similar case with 1500 chips, each in Chip Racks with Covers, that I use for home. Its not a travel case because its fricking heavy. For a travel case, get wheels.

For home storage, I would get something that will hold them all. For transporting, I would split them into two 750 cases or three 500 cases. 1500 chips in one case would be heavy to lift.

Hope storage you can get one of those oak cases reviewed in the other thread. I got one and they are nice! They are 1200 chip cases supposedly, but will definitely hold more if you use the deep top compartment for more chip storage. The drawers will only hold 1200 total.

For transport, go with one of the husky cases.

Sure.

The drawers hold a total of 1200 chips. The top is deep enough that you can easily put 5 of those plastic chipboxes on edge, just in the center of the top. To that's 1700 chips in there, still leaving room in the cubbies on the sides on the top section, for cards markers, buttons, etc.

(If that description isn't clear.. let me know and I'll setup my case that way for a pic)

Oh, and I'm moving this thread to the "Other Poker Gear" forum.
