Well, if it's just a $10 buy-in with a bunch of guys who don't know how to play much, I would just let it go. Explaining the common rules to these guys would slow down the game to much and I'm sure that's the last thing they want in their turbo game. Besides, you were at someone else's house so not a lot you can do if that's how they play. Next time find out the common rules before entering a game so you know what you're getting into.
