| Most of the WPT chips are not the "bellagio" variety; however, the reason may be that these are just the new "style" WPT is selling. Either way, buy what you like.
I would, however, recommend obtaining samples - if you even can - or finding someone else who has a set you can physically put your hands on. That way you can really determine if you think they are worth the money. See how the fell, how the stack, how stable stacks of chips are, if the chips are uniform in appearance or have lots of little flaws. Then you will be able to make the most informed decision.
Also remember, chips are like cars and women: everyone has thier own tastes.
