It may be bigger than you need, but Target has one of those octagonal padded tops that fold into quarters, for $35 (seen at $39.95 and $49.95 at other chain stores and web sites) It's a 42" octangonal top, but I think you can leave it folded in half and just use it at an approximate 21x42 size (a little like a small blackjack layout.) Unfortunately it has the obligatory chiptray and cupholder that other similar layouts like this have. The one at Target is under the Cardinale branding, though this particular top is sold under a variety of brandings.
If you see the Michael Graves poker chip sets at your local store, grab all you can at 9.98 a set. I found 2 sets hitting 4 stores last night. Don't know if I"ll do anything with them or if they're going to become Christmas presents, but I couldn't turn them down at that price. BTW that rack may hold 30 of the included plastic chips per slot, but they will only hold 25 normal chips (actually 26 but that makes counting difficult). So if you're going to use real chips, with it, plan on it being a 200 chip rack instead of 240.

I'm looking to commission someone to build me a 2' x 3' poker "table top" to sit on my table.
Nothing too fancy, just a board, felt (green preferred) and padding. No rails, cup holders, legs, etc needed. A padded felted rectangle, is all. Maybe slightly rounded corners would be the biggest request.
The wife and I play heads up NLHE (and other card games) quite often and until we buy our house this summer and we can leave the good table set up all the time, we play on the coffee table.
It would be really cool, to just reach behind the couch and pull out the mini table when we feel like pushing a few chips and cards around.
Any takers, contact me at brett"at"jblo25.com with a quote, with shipping to zip 92120
