IMHO I think this is a little excessive. This is what I do and its fast...

More than sufficient.

Actually, four or five riffles are the bare minimum to even hope for randomness to begin, but between five and seven seems be enough: http://flatrock.org.nz/topics/art_of...n_at_poker.htm

BTW, it takes me about 21 seconds to perform the sequence I describe.
