| I like your blinds, very close to what I use. I agree though, the timing of the levels is goofy. I'd much prefer longer early levels and then quicker levels at the end to drive to a finish.
FWIW, I start out with all 20 min levels. I've thought about making the earlier levels maybe 25, but 20 seems to work. Once things go heads up or after 3 hours, I make all levels 10 min. By then you're down to the last few and those hanging around are ready for a new game.
You're going to have an overkill of plaques with your setup. If you want to get them out more, you'll need to raise the 10 player game to maybe T4000 or more.
I didn't look closely at your payout schedule, but here's what I do:
<8 players - 70%-30%
8-12 players - 50%-30%-20%
12-16 players - 50%-25%-15%-10%
>16 players - 45%-25%-15%-10%-5%
It's a lot of payout places, I know, but I prefer to pay out more with the philosphy that deeper cashes will keep people coming back. Especially the fish! |
