.... You know, the ones who won't fold a pair no matter what happens.
Here I was playing with a guy one a hand. I raised from middle position with suited 8-9h. All fold except one guy. He calls.
On the Flop: 6h, Kc, Qh comes up. He raises a small amount. If he hit a set, he probably would've checked. I'm thinking, well, it's a small bet, and I have a flush draw. I'm not gonna fold. So I re-raise him. Doubling his bet. He calls. Now I'm thinking he's either on a flush draw himself or has at least 2 Kings.
Turn is a 2d, he checks. I check behind him incase he's trapping me with 2 Kings or even pair of KQ. I'd bet big here but I have nothing. Still waiting for that heart to show up.
River is a another Ks. He checks. I missed my flush and he has me beat. I decided not to bet as the pot wasn't worth it and I figured he would've called me anyway. We show cards. He has a Jc 6c.
He called my re-raise with a pair of 6 with 2 overcards on the board and my pre-flop raise.
Note: He was the 2nd guy broke. Went all in with a 10-9 suited against a monster raise of pocket Aces from another guy.
