That's kind of my thinking. When it's only a rebuy at bustout, the last few hands before the rebuys end are a mess. I've done events with rebuy + add-on and I like them OK. They do build a huge pot! But kind of like the allowed immediate rebuys, what I don't want is something where you're basically compelled to do it. To me, those instant rebuys and add-ons generally work like that. I don't want to tell people it's a $20 game when in reality you have to spend $60 to keep up with a decent chip stack most nights.
