This will be my first post on this board because up to now, I have not had a reason to post. Oh yeah, MAJOR lurker. Anyway, ON TO BUSINESS...
I have a 500 chip set(Soon to be a 1000 chip set) of Nevada Jacks Martini Club chips which I love BUT, when it comes time to color up I really wish I had some $1000 chips.
THUS...
I contacted Jim at Nevada Jacks and asked what it would take to get a $1000 denominated Martini-Club chip out of them. He replied:
"5000 pieces @ $1.10, figure $6.00 for shipping minimum 25 chips per address". I don't know if a significantly larger order would lower the price or not but it may.
I only need 100 chips myself so obviously SOMEBODY needs to get a group-buy going here. I asked Jim if he would take pre-orders but got the big "N.O." in response. If this is going to happen as a group-buy, somebody will have to get money and a list of people and addresses together and make ONE order. I was going to do this myself, but I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME OR RECOURCES. I REALLY think there are MANY people out there which would LOVE $1000 denominated Martini-Club chips. Like I said however, I just don't have the time to organize this myself.
If you are interested in organizing this group buy, the chip you everyone would be ordering will appear as follows:
Inlay: Standard Martini-Club with $1000 denomination
Body: [Bananna yellow] - The same Yellow that appears as an edge spot on the $5 Martini-Club Chip
Edge Spots: THE EXACT SAME EDGE SPOTS THAT APPEAR ON THE $25 denominated Martini club chip. (The chips would look just like the $1000s on WPT Aruba 2002 [Erik L. Winner])
