This gives everyone a nice sized stack of chips to start. And it allows everyone to play a while. Well, almost everyone.

5 minute break, color up to nothing but 500's and 1000's

500/4000/8000


I tell any new people that don't like this system, that they do have the option to get up and leave. No one has left yet, and when the games over, everyone ends up liking it. The games usually take around 3 hours.
