Well, 1st hand of the tourny I'm in the small blind w/ 2,7. Everyone calls to me(not a rare occurance.) I laugh and throw in the hundred(I'll see a flop w/ 2,7 for 19-1.) The bb who is one of the better players laughs and knocks the table. Flop comes 7,2,4 rainbow. Couldn't ask for much more in my situation. I lead out for 2000 figuring to take it down right there. BB debates then says "I think we might be splitting" which makes me think he has the same hand(hopefully not 7,4.) It's folded around to the maniac of the group(absolutly horrible player who bets or overbets if he hits any part of flop.)
Psycho boy raises 3000. Gets around to me and I'm kinda stunned. Anybody else I prob lay it down and and give them credit for a set. But psycho would prob do this w/ 4,k. So i call. And so does BB. Damn.
Turn comes a 9. I check. If I'm beat I get called and if I'm not, psycho might lay down but would still bet if it was checked to him. BB checks behind me and psycho bets 3000. I say screw it, I'm big stack or 1st out and raise last 2000 all-in. BB calls and so does psycho. All 3 of us roll 2,7.
What a fun way to start the night. 3 people see a flop w/2,7 and end up all-in. And I ended up winning the tourny
Should have expected an ending like that the way you titled the thread... and congrats on the win!
