Just a Nasty Hand
Huge Bad Beat right here:
We are playing $5 Dealers Choice 5 Card Omaha H/L 8O - we call it Big Mitt. I limp in with A248Q double suited... not a great hand but I limped to see a flop. Flop comes down 448 - Great I flopped a boat and have the nut low draw. Player one UTG bets and player two raises the pot which was which I called everyone else folds. The turn brings a Q another great card for me as the boat just got bigger and I still think I am golden. P1 bets Player two raises the pot again so at this point the pot is about $400 and I am thinkin WTF is goin on here? So I call the pot size bet and reraise the pot $800 myself.. at this point the pot was getting to be a monster and I think I have the hand. Player 1 calls all of his money $350 and i get player two to lay down his 8's full of fours(little did I know he was beating me). Players 1 had 2 3 5 10 10 in his hand. When I see his hand I know I have him beat both ways, if a low card comes I have nut low and nut high and scoop the pot. If a high card comes I scoop the pot. The only card that can beat me here is a 10. Yep you guessed it, he hits the case 10 on the river and lose a $1200 something pot. Another player told me he had the other 10 so this guy was basically drawing to POSSIBLY win half of the pot for low and hits the one outer the whole damn pot. UNF@#$KING beliveable
