I am also currently working on a chip case for my washers. I am going to use a rouder to make a channel in a 2 x 4 cut it in half, cut it length, then add a piano hinge to make the top and bottom of the case. After that I will cap off the ends, add some detailing, along with a latch and hopefully I will have a functioning chip case for these washers!! I think that this case will be better than the one suggested by hachkc!! (But thanks for the suggestion anyways hack!!
