Then you'll be fine. ASM chips will last a lifetime. Just don't keep any pliers or hammers near the poker table. I don't think they get either stronger or weaker as they age.

I saw a review at pokerchips reviews web site and he said they were nice but his photos show the chips don't have inserts. I know I want inserts on my chips I just have to get the design right first. My wife is anewspaper designer so we are working in photoshop to make something we really want to keep. I still wonder about chip life.

hm, I would expect a single chip to take a nearly unlimited amount of drops onto a hard surface. What happens if someone drops a rack? All of the weight of additional chips would probably break at least one. I wouldn't worry about it too much though, even one of the octagon Chipcos has broken now and I would not have thought that would happen.

My crappy nexgen chips are looking better and better! muahahahahaha.

im pretty sure they will last long enough that when you get tired of them, they still be in good condition. besides the dirt and grime if you don't clean them.
