10 people, 400 chips

I figured out a chipset with denominations that will accomodate 10 people with only 400 chips. This same set can be used for 25/25, 25/50, 50/1, 1/2 NLHE and most everything in between. There aren't really enough quarters for a full stud table playing 25/50 but I'm pretty sure that 50/1 would be ok. I also love playing 1/2 and 2/4 draw so the quarters would only be antes. I came up with this because I want a travel breakdown where I don't have to carry 550+ chips.

"25" - 75
"1" - 225
"5" - 100

using the "25" as $0.25 change will have to be made on a fairly regular basis. This nets a value of $74.38 for each of 10 people. If I get more than $750 on the table in a quarter game then I sure don't mind if $20's play

Using the "25" as $25, the breakdown makes much more sense and there will be little change being made in a 1/2 NLHE game. This makes the set worth $2600 face value for $260 each. If $100's and $20's end up getting played in this game I'll be happier than a fag in boystown.

I just figured I'd post this as another in the "what breakdown is best" vein... I see some pretty wasteful chipsets when I'm playing out and about. Now that I've got what I consider a great, flexible 400 chip breakdown I might be able to justify clay chips or some suits. I will try this breakdown this week and see how it works out for a 25c game. I'm confident it's a good 1/2 NLHE breakdown.
