Tilt chips

There's a discussion going on th-p.com about these.

TILT CHIPS SOLD SO FAR

I bought 600 of them, still trying to gather whether it's all legit, and whether I can pick my colors...

That's nice how the listing says they're Paulson. Despite the fact they're Blue Chip.

Yes, there are incosistencies that can attirbuted to ignorance. I keep going back and forth, but I'm leaning much towards "legit" right now.

In one of her emails she said "Paulson/Blue Chip Co chips 9-10 grams" so I just don't know yet. I paid her. We'll see.

I got a really stupid response from he/she/it.
Something to the effect that I should visit their store tommorow to see the new chips fresh out of the oven.

I have no time for bullshite like that

that's some ridiculous stuff right there. how well does ebay/paypal protect you from fraud? if i had paid her off i'd be thinking about recourse right about now.

Anyone have a source for chip images from the show? good screenshots or something? I went to the Tivo and I confirmed the colors and edgespots, they really do look like the same chips.

I know we established a while back that they are Blue Chips, but you have to admit, the edges look much too smooth for BC chips. BC's have ridges running around the rolling edges... these are smooth. My Tivo recordings are too low to see any molds closely.

(These chips being sold on ebay were used in the tournament episodes, I didn't check the standard Colorado Casino colors.)

It looks to me like they have chips for sale from $1 all the way to $10,000. Unless the whites are $25,000, then no $1. Hard to tell from the only photo with whites.

Here's the breakdown of all chips as I can see from auction photos:

White/$1 (or $25,000)
Red/$5
Green/$25
Black/$100
Pink/$500
Blue/$1000
Lavender/$5000
Yellow/$10,000

Why do I care? Because I bought 600 of them.

the image i saw that was undeniable was the closeup of the 10k yellow chipo from when matador flipped it to the poker room manager, when he re-promoted him to poker from the slots.

over at 2+2, someone showed a still of that closeup, and the clamshells were clear.

ah, there 'tis:

looks like it matches the yellow chip from your ebay auction.

Yeah, it's damn close, but if you look carefully, the blue edgespot is on the right side on the closeup and the left side on the auction. Clearly they are fake.

(sorry J5, I couldn't resist. )

p.s. (hold the flames, I'm kidding...)
