Spiral Stack

ok, i've seen it a couple times now, and i'm quite curious about the method. i think finn's chips were stacked in a spiral in one of his pics, and another guy on here had it too (sorry, i forget who...he had trouble with img, and called it a rainy day boredom). anyway, is this just done one chip at a time? over the course of....57 hours?
thanks

Over at the TH-P forums I remember a person named Teekan doing one as well. Maybe he will show up with pics.

I have since seen it done better, but is this what you mean:

The chips were placed 1 by 1, but it actually didn't take long at all. I wanted to stack them higher, but the chips had just arrived, and everyone was so impatient to play...

yup, one at a time. it doesn't take forever, and it's pretty cool.

Wow, that's the first time I've seen that done!! Super way cool! I'll be trying that with my forthcoming PJBs and posting pics.

After seeing your pic it inspired me to try it myself. Didn't take long and looks great. I like the spiral alot better than the pyramid types. I've see the three and four chip spirals and was wondering if you knew any other themes. Doesn't matter how simple or complex it is.
