Chips: 2,452.0 Bank: 0.0 Total Chips: 2,452.0 | | | So I now have Copag. KEM and Dal Negro Cards...
And after handling them all and playing with them all, I find that I like the Dal Negro's the best. I like the art, the look and the feel of them best out of all 3 cards.
For me Copag is second and the KEMs are third. The KEMs look nicer then the Copag's but the Copag's feel and play better.
On top of that though when the 4 Copag Decks and 2 Dal Negro decks arrived, everything was perfect and they were around $15 for 2 decks.
The KEMs however cost me over $26 for 2 decks of unused casino KEMs and when they arrived one deck was missing the 9 of clubs. The other deck was fine and whole, but both decks were sealed in plastic. On top of that, the cards were out of order (went like 2 through 10 then on to the next suit, the 9 of hearts was in the middle of the spades..etc..)....so I am not sure what is going on with them. The person I got them from on Ebay deals in them constantly and has a 99.8% feedback rating. He is going to replace the deck with the missing card, but I guess that kinda soured me on the KEMs..that and the price.
So bottom line to me for price and quality, the Dal Negro's win hands down with the Copag's coming in a not very distant second.

I got them from buypokerchips.com, they were $20 for the set of 2, I thought they were $15 but that was the Copags.
Either way I am very happy with the Dal Negros and will probably order another set.

I ordered a deck of th Dal Negro's myself this week. A buddy of mine received his yesterday so I had a chance to tool around with them. I have to say, I really love these cards. Not sure how I would compare them to my KEMs yet but I plan on using the Del Negro's this Friday at my weekly tourney so I will post an update. As for the art work and feel of the card, very nice!

I got a set-up of Dal Negros from Kardwell, but they REALLY bend you over on the shipping. I really like the cards, but my buddies do not. The think that they are too thick. I stacked Kems next to the Dal Negros and took off 11 Dal Negro cards to make the stacks equal. The Dal Negros feel very "substantial." They shuffle and play more like paper cards than Kems, copags, etc. There don't seem to be many places to get them. I have only found two here in the states: http://www.gamepreserve.com/store/ca...ay=28&nav=card
and http://www.kardwell.com/dal-negro.htm |
