I voted for white $1, but you can safely discount my vote. I have a nice set of Chipco Egyptians, so I'm still looking for an excuse to buy the Paulsons. Given a choice, though, I voted for the white $1 just so the colors would be consistent with the Chipcos.

I have seen just as many white $1 chips as blue $1 chips, the only first hand experience is Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun in my neck of the woods. But I am in the blue $1 camp. Either way I am already in so its just a matter of if I get $1 chips or not as I can always use the $100 chips in their place.

I have a set of the JB's and like them just as much as these new Pharaohs, I think 10%er has done a great job so far and will accept whatever decision he makes and purchase according to my needs.

BTW psy that is an excellent job gathering all those images to pleed your case!!! I have never seen one of those flamingo $1 chips, thats pretty interesting that they have the edgespots on just one spot on the chip.

Wow, just about 14 weeks since this thread was alive. Must be a record considering the site isn't that old.

While I'm at it: rules.

Why are there so many freaking topics about this? WHO CARES!?!?!? Black, white, pink, sh*t brown... they're worth $1 either way.

Seriously, if you want Vegas style chips, get blue $1 chips... if you want A.C. style chips, get white $1 chips. SIMPLE AS DAT POINT BLANK.

True enough. However, consider that you referred to "so many freaking topics" which would lead me to believe that....many people care? Ok, perhaps care is not the right word. Interested? Have an opinion? Geez, you're on a site devoted to collecting, baking, weighing, customizing, using, measuring, comparing and generally obsessing about poker chips. If anyone out there is capable of "caring" about the color of a $1 chip, it would be right here.

Btw: Blue all the way.

I wasn't literally asking for the names of those who care... it was rhetorical... more asking WHY people cared. They say $1 on them. The only reason this question exists is because the casinos decided that $1 are either blue or white. I dunno why CUSTOM chips have to follow this? Come up with your own color scheme.
