3¢ Best price going for a "decent" chip right now?

If you need a bunch of cheap chips, it's hard to pass up these chips at this price: 3¢ Super Diamonds.

I own 1300 super diamonds myself, and I they certainly do the job.

You can get 1000 chips for $30, decent shipping, and I also vouch for their rolling aluminum cases. The cases hold up much better than the cheaper alum cases you usually get with cheap chips.

I guess three cents/chip is hard to argue against, especially if you are on a tight budget or play with a bunch of beer spilling maniacs!

7.5g seems a bit light. I've seen some 9.5/10g super diamonds chips somewhere, which seemed a bit better.

I think I still might get a case of 1000 chips. I only own a set of 500 diced and it could get short when we're having a 6/7 players home game.

Try not to get caught up in the "heavier is better" myth. It'll be hard, because by now it's engrained in the mind of most novice chip buyers. I assure you, 11.5g is not an official weight of any kind, it's just how much (dice) chip varieties weigh due to sales.

When you lug 2000 chips to your buddy's house once every two weeks, you don't want 11.5g (or 15.5, or 25g etc) chips unless they are "special" to you.

Regardless of weight, these chips are a good price. You can't beat 3¢ a chip, and if you can, let me know.

err weird I wasn't logged in :)

Anyways I agree with you ten, 11.5g is definitely not official. What I especially hate about my Dice is that metal clunk sound when I drop them.

Anyways I'm pretty sure I'll get myself a set of blank pokerchips.com chips, they seem really nice. But having to wait 3 months for chips is bad.

I could also get some of the new pharaoe chips you're setting up, they seem nice. But I'm waiting for a possibility to buy a sample first. I need to feel them before considering buying 500 or 1000 chips.

I definately prefer 9-10 grams, but If I was pressed for cash, I would definately order these or the 10 gram dice chips...Those are impressive.

The price is right

How can you argue with 3 cents a chip? If I had a need to run a huge tourney, I'd be all over those.
